About MantiCORE Labs

MantiCORE Labs is a (Microsoft Windows and .NET centric) software development resources website that is maintained by Ignyter and Animagic for the purpose of being a central place to gather important news and resources from the world of software development.

Hunting and gathering

Over the years it has occurred many times that we heard of a certain development tool or read something in a fleeting moment while scouring the web, only to end up not being able to remember where it was. Keeping track of where some of the most valuable free or open-source tools could be found was mostly a matter of keeping a list of it on the intranet. But as with everything of that nature, maintaining it was often a very low priority.

Because Animagic already owned this website for other related development services that are now provided a new home it was an easy decision to re-use this website and transform it into a resource archive that can easily be updated in a collaborative manner and with the intention to archive and keep track of a lot of the resources that are frequently used by Ignyter and Animagic. By making this website a public blog we hope to increase the involvement and priority of keeping up a hopefully useful resource.

Diversity

Another reason for creating this new MantiCORE Labs website is that we often we encounter interesting development resources that get our attention but aren't something that is directly useful or related to the core business and software development activities but are noteworthy, important, or useful for the development community as a whole. This website is the perfect place for bringing attention to those.
